As you can guess my name is Guy Rutenberg. I’m in my twenties living in Tel Aviv, Israel. I look at the blog you’re reading as a self-reference tool and a way to share with others useful and not so useful things I’ve wrote or found.
I have a B.Sc in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Open Univerisy of Israel, which I commenced during high-school. Nowadays I’m a part-time student studying towards a M.Sc in Mathematics at Tel-Aviv University.
I’ve wrote and contributed to a number of open-source projects with a wide variety of languages and tools, from C++ to Python and LaTeX.
Apart from programming for fun, I’m a professional web-developer, currently employed by LabPixies. From time to time, when an interesting offer comes along, I do freelance jobs. If you have something you I can help you with, please contact me.
When I’m not in front of the computer or doing math, I enjoy rowing in the Tel Aviv Rowing Club, something I’ve done since I was 6 years old. I’ve represented Israel in the juniors national team and my rowing club in both international and national regattas.
